This prototype shows a nearly finished Sonic Heroes. I would consider this a review copy, actually, since almost everything in here is present in the final game. Sonic Retro says this is pretty much the final game, but I beg to differ (only slightly)
Differences to note[]
- The Blue/Black Tornado Cancel cannot be done.
- In Chaotix's Seaside Hill, the platform with the Block and spring in the first cannon area hasn't been removed yet. You can see it in Sonic's Seaside Hill.
- Hang Castle's track switching isn't fully functional, but nearly.
Chronologically, when was this released?[]
Most likely, this was the review copy sent out to big sites and reviewers such as Gamespot and IGN. Most likely, a month or so before the official release date.
